FAQ

Is Homemade 7-Up a mocktail or soda?
It is a non-alcoholic mocktail designed to taste like a classic lemon-lime soda using sparkling water.

Can I use bottled soda water instead of Sodarizer?
Yes, but freshly carbonated water made with Sodarizer gives a cleaner fizz and fresher taste.

Can I replace calamansi with lime?
Yes. Lime juice works well, but calamansi gives a more local Filipino citrus flavor.

Is this drink very sweet?
No. It is lightly sweet and refreshing, with sweetness adjustable to taste.

Can I make this ahead of time?
For best results, carbonate the water just before serving to maintain fizz.

Optional note
This recipe is created for Sodarizer but also works with SodaStream-style machines or other soda makers. Always carbonate plain water first, then add citrus and syrup after.
