Directions
Add your dry ingredients (flour, baking powder, sugar, salt) into a large mixing bowl and mix them well.
In a separate bowl, whisk together your carbonated water, egg, melted butter, and vanilla extract (wet ingredients).
Combine the wet and dry ingredients into one bowl and mix again. Make sure they are well-blended into a smooth, thick batter (no visible lumps).
Preheat your pan on medium-high heat. Spread a little butter on it to keep your pancake from sticking, then pour in around 1/4 cup batter for one pancake.
When several bubbles form on the surface and the pancake edges are firm (not gooey), flip the pancake. Let it cook for about 1 more minute.
Place the finished pancake on a plate. Repeat the cooking process for each pancake until you’ve consumed the batter.
